If you are not redirected to the right app on your smartphone when renewing the connection with your KBC bank account, you are likely using a default browser application that is not Google Chrome (or built upon Google Chrome). The KBC website may not register that you already have the KBC Mobile app on your phone if it goes directly through the default browser.
When you open the link using the Google Chrome app, you will be given the option to select your KBC Mobile app instead of the "KBC Touch" app.
Follow these steps to solve the problem:
- Open the bonsai app
- Start the procedure to link/renew the connection with your KBC bank account
- When the bonsai app redirects you to the KBC website - via your default browser - copy the web link/URL
- Open the Google Chrome app and paste the web link/URL into your Chrome search bar
- When pressing enter, you should normally get the option to open the KBC Mobile app
